Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Business Operations Coordinator to serve as a key right-hand to our senior leadership team. This versatile role combines administrative excellence with hands-on involvement in accounting, bookkeeping, technology initiatives, CRM oversight, and special projects. Ideal for someone with an accounting, project management, or teaching/education background who thrives on variety and learning.
You'll gain deep insight into multiple areas of our operations while helping execute important company initiatives that contribute directly to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle core accounting processes: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
- Manage and optimize our CRM system (data entry, reporting, workflow improvements).
- Coordinate technology projects and implementations (software rollouts, system updates, vendor coordination).
- Assist with special projects across departments — from process improvements to strategic initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for leadership.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Background in accounting/bookkeeping, project management, teaching/education, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience a plus.
- Comfortable learning new systems and technology quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
